looking for a cowl hood 99-04


im looking mainly for a 3 inch cuz its perfect not to big and not to small but im trying to find the best quality and fitment.. thxz

Well it's official...

This a 2.5 inch from HO Fibertrends. I was having it painted so not the best overall pictures but a few of the other guys on here can post some better angle shots of the same hood I have, Cervini's has a 3.5 inch one but the hood looks to be overall shorter in height than the HO one. All companies that produce these hoods measure them at different areas and give it a number. I think the HO one has the best looking rise. I think Steeda makes a 3 inch one. Fittament issues arise on the companies that are not well known for their hoods. I would stick with either HO or Cervinis...if you want the hood to fit to an OEM spec. There may be a few more good quality hoods out there but those 2 are definitely at the top!

+1 for ho fibertrends. I just bought one at nmra columbus last weekend & the fit & finish is amazing about 10 min to adjust & looks perfect

I can vouch for the Cervini's 95 Corbra R hood. I bought it primarily for the screened air vents that keep the engine bay cooler. I didn't see that advertised on other hoods.
