Hurst SST Shifter vs. MGW short throw (2001 Mustang GT)

Alright, i do not know which one to go with. I'm leaning towards the MGW since i've heard alot of good things about it. But the new Hurst SST is supposed to be really good from 2nd to 3rd as well. I still have my crappy stock shifter so i wouldnt know how either one feels.

Also if anyone has pics of either one (especially the Hurst!), i would really appreciate if you could show me, cause i dont want a crappy looking shifter in my car.

the mgw can take any knob with the stock threading.

i have a b&m pro ripper in mine. if it wasn't for the good deal i got on it, i would of gotten the Hurst. everyone is on mgw's balls. and so will I when i get mine.

it shifted nice it springs into and out of gear. its stiff but smooth. idk about the pingy feeling.

well have you driven an '05 plus gt with the short throw? it sort of grabs when you shift. stiff but smooth feeling. does it grab?

i've got a upr blu thunder...it's almost identical to the mgw, and yes i have shifted both.

I personally like my upr cause it's a little bit firmer than the mgw. It's all IMO but anyways.

it's about the same as the mgw. The tri-ax is the only shifter i've felt that's alot shorter, but it's a little to choppy for my taste. Drove a cobra with it and a tt v6, didn't like it anyhwere near as much as the mgw and upr
