A coupe is roughly $70 more a month, and a convertible is roughly $50 more a month. At least, that was the price difference from my car to a '03 Cobra coupe, and a '03 Cobra convertible. I have State Farm btw.

I've been insured since I was 18, right before I turned 19, and I'm 20 now and my insurance still hasn't changed. Unless he has a bad driving record, it should be roughly the same price difference for him and I.

Go with progressive they don't weigh in the difference, whether it's a v6 or a cobra.

if i had a termi at the age you about to get one at. im 21 now, so if i had a termi for 3 years, i wouldnt have a license or the car would have over 100K on it b/c i would drive it everywhere. im not afraid to put miles on a car.

i support your decision

Yeah, what I'm saying is it's a $70 difference for my car - '01 Bullitt - to a '03 Cobra coupe. Btw, the rates for a Bullitt and a plain GT are the same. So if I would of gotten a '03 Cobra as my first car, my rates would of only been $70 more a month than what I'm paying right now.
