So your running 40lbs in the rear tires at the track? Dam I would lower it then and get even better 60's. It amazes me that you can crush the side wall like in your pic at 40psi.

Well I'll believe 1.97 of the nittos that's basically 2 seconds you should have lowered the psi. I did a 1.66 on 17" dr's and a stock suspension. But I only ran 17 psi in them.

Heard what hit the ground? I have ran Nittos, MT's, and BFG's in the 17" and I have never heard anything hitting the ground.

I wouldn't run 40psi on the street. For the rears I run about 27 on the street and 16-17 at the track if I run the 17's . Then I run 32 in the fronts on the street with 44 psi in fronts at the track only.

Well I find hard to believe. Most people run what I run. I did it a couple months ago and was leaving at 4700-5000 rpm.

I'm not sure what it was but it was a loud clunk and it felt solid when it hit...

Well I assure you it wasn't the side wall caving in, and the rim touching the ground.

I noticed your slips are from April. Nothing like cool air, and low elevation to make a car perform better..

Yeah I'm running like 13.50's now My factory clutch Is about to go I think...
I dont know what it is I do not hear it with the slicks (15 psi) and I've left at WOT many times... (The pic in my sig was my 13.15 run)
I believe in driving it like you stole it...And the cool air helps a lot ...

Bring that up to a track that's a 1000 more and warm air. It will make you wanna go back.

I run at two tracks most of the time. I always pick up 2-3 tenths and 2-3 mph, when I go to the track that's at 500' compared to one that's 1300' track I usually go to.

All my freinds want to go to MIR (Maryland Internation Dragway) it's at seal level this November lol. When it's cold at a sea level it is like running at negative elevation. Of course the lower the elevation the more oxygen and more power.

on nittos i burn them for a little bit and run 12-14 psi. i rev it to 6200 on the two step and side step the clutch. ive cut high 1.60 and low 1.70s on 17 inch nittos doing this.

heres a couple pictures of me doing just that. the front tires are barely touching the ground. if thoose tires would have held the nitrous off the line a touch better, it would have them hanging a little.

Well sadly with the way work has been i haven't been able to get to the track and they are closed for the winter now. I also need to fix my car because bank 1 and bank 2 are running lean, my idle RPMs are high, and i am changeing out my cat backs. If all goes as planed I should have everying thing fixed, sub-frame in, 4.10 gears in, tuned, and maybe a few other things in.

I run my nitto's at 18.8psi before the first burnout then make e'm set at 19.5. I launch at 3900 on a prepp'd track, which i haven't since my tune and suspesion work and on poorly prepped track i can laaunch at 3400 and cut 1.9 60'. and i'm not the greatest at launching
I'm gonna try 15 come springtime since all you guys have such great 60' with that low

Stock right now. haven't gotton to that yet. it's the rims that make it look lower. and the rims are 17"s '95 cobra R style.
