Just curious as to what complete bottom end setup for a gt ya'll think would be the best w/ a kb s/c?

WOW talk about a rather broad question! How much are you looking to spend? Doing the work yourself? Goals for car? Long block or just short block?

i got my forged rotating assembly from Sean Hyland Motorsport last year. i paid $1795 plus balancing and shipping for:
Cobra Crank
Manley H beam rods
Manley pistons (17cc, 0.020" over)
FM main and rod bearings
FM piston rings
i'm setting up for a centri blower. for a positive displacement blower, you'd want a bigger piston dish to lower the compression a bit. 17cc dish is the stock dish size on 99-04 2v's btw...

sorry lol i'm not really worried about the cost part right now... just curious as to what everyone thought was the best way to go.

I'm looking at the same thing right now. I'm going to talk to an engine builder tommorow and i'll let you know what my my setup is going to cost.
