Demello LISTEN to me...

I read half of the thread. Im going to tell you everything you need to know and I positive that my info is correct.

T45 is gonna need the same as the T3650. 3.5 Quarts. Ford proabably told you in Pints for some reason. Use Mobil 1 Mercon V automatic transmission fluid. Buy 4 quarts. Measure 1 of them out in a measuring cup and get half a quart in to one bottle.

Now go under your car and on the bottom part of your tranny you will see a plug that say "DRAIN" your going to need a 3/8 ratchet. Put the ratchet end in there and lossen it. Let it sit there and COMPLETELY drain. PLug it back up and go up top to your shifter.

Use a flat tip to get the console off. Use a 10mm and extension to get the gasket bolts off. Now use a 12mm to get the shifter off. You should be looking at a "cup" inside the tailpeice of the tranny.

Take a funnel and surround it with a plastic bag. (the bag will help prevent a mess if you so happen to spill some) Pour the 3.5 Quarts into there (around the cup. not in it. itll drain itself into the tranny). Close it back up and before yo ustart the car, push in your clutch and move the shifter around a little bit to get things moving inside with the new fluid.

Start the car and go.

The fuel filter requires a finesse. You have to push the removal tool inside then as soon as you hear it click push and pull. Youll see what I mean. MAKE SURE YOU DRAIN YOUR LINES!!! To do this unplug your inertia switch whihc is located behind a panl in your trunk in the left corner close to the tail light. its a red button. Unplug it and turn your car on. Let it sit at idle until the shuts it self off... Plug in and play...

Your spark plugs are located near your injectors, which may be pink or orange. Mine are pink. RIGHT beside those are your coils... I circled the injectors in green and the coil i could see in yellow

Your gonna need a 7mm, swivel for the 7mm, a 3/8s ratchet with extensions and a swivel, anti seize, and a 5/8s spark plug socket

Do you still have your cats? If so that might be the problem. Any difference in how it runs such as loss of power? Clogged cats can produce a lean code.

No he has an offroad X, but he has a tuner that he used to shut off his rear O2s

it's when your spark plug ignites before your piston hits top dead center. that shit is so bad for your car it could put a hole threw your piston if it gets bad enough

you said somthing about your exhaust sounding different, you probly have an exhaust leak before the first o2.

p.s. good reply zinc

i would just add that you can just give the inertia switch a swift tap with your hand and the button will pop up, then you know its triggered... also a good trick to play on your ford friends, laugh when they cant figure out why theyr car wont start

im goign to spray my maf down rite now and put air filter oil on the filter. then tommrow morning im doing my fuel filter and after school im doing my transmission fluid change.

i know this pic is shitty but this is definitly the gengeral area of where the wierd nosie is coming from...

its hard to tell exactly becuase with the lm1s and o/r x the cars loud but when i turn the car on and get next to the circled area i can hear the nosie louder then if im on the other side or not leaning over
