Time to start cracking down on getting a new exhaust. Suggestions?

I have Flowtech Afterburner Weld Ins right now. They are pretty loud if you ask me. I know they are not nearly as loud as you can buy but they are decent.

Im torn on what to get. I've been really studying exhaust for a while now and i've made a couple of threads in the past but i still can not decide. I've narrowed down my options. Bassani is just out of the question. I love it but they are just too much. I really dont want to pay over 400.00. Borla is too much as well. So my options are... Magnapacks, LM1, LM2, Mac. I know the LM's and magnapakcs are over 400 but i've found a place that is selling them for 420 so i can deal with that i guess, and the packs for 360. and for the packs for 360 im feeling like that is just too good of an offer to pass up.

I have an O/R H pipe so keep that in mind. I think Magnapacks sound great but i recently found a good quality video and i felt the Magnapacks with the O/R h pipe sounded like a harley Davison, so im not too sure i want the packs anymore. Has anyone heard the packs in person with an O/R H? Is this video just weird or is it me?????? other videos sound fine to me and sound awsome. I think when he revs it, it sounds fine, but on his normal accel it sounds like the motorcycle. hard Accel sounds fine as well.
( From 20-23 seconds on the video i think it sounds like a motorcycle. Listen for this... and then on all the de-acceleration. Why is this? None of the other videos i've seen with magnapacks and O/R H sound like that. But maybe im just strange. I dont know so let me know haha.

Im sorta leaning toward the Really loud. IM not sure i want the Ridiculously loud like the LM1. I know i would love how loud they are but my car is a DD so not too sure about that. Not worried about the cops either. So for the loud category its magnapacks and the LM1. IM not a fan of the X pipe and LM1 since its too raspy. With the H pipe is it still pretty raspy? I like the old school muscle sound. LM1 with a Catted H pipe sound amazing to me but again i have an O/R H pipe. But i cant really find a good quality video of the LM1 with the H pipe. Every seems to think they have to put the camera 1 ft away from the LM1 like we cant hear it.

next LM2 im having a hard time with. I cant seem to find how loud they are. What do the LM2 compare to? I want loud remember. I dont think i would want to go with anything quieter then magnapacks or maybe just a tad quieter. I heard macs were pretty loud too so thats why i threw them in there and they sound pretty good as well to me.

Sorry this is long but i really need to start cracking down on this exhaust stuff. I've been saving for 4 months now and i think its time to dent my wallet a little. haha.

Thanks a lot guys

the H pipe is what's making it sound like a Harley, no matter if you get LM1's, LM2's or 'Packs they're all gonna have that sound, H pipe and bullet style mufflers aren't the best combination for sound.

my suggestion is get an X pipe.

-edit, just re-read your whole post, you dont like X...nevermind, LOL

As far as loudness on LM2's, theyre way quieter than Magnapacks. 3 months ago, i installed a LM2 catback on my setup(LT's+O/R X) i swapped out the LM2's for 'Packs and the 'Packs were way LOUDER.

LM 1's + O/R H...

I had this setup, sounds like chit if you ask me.

H has deep sound. X has raspy louder sound. Chambered has deep clean tone, straight through's are high pitched. Make you choice from there. I have MC LT's Catted H and Pro-Dumps. Its loud as shit. Sets off car alarms and everything. Also has super deep sound. The Dumps make it drone something aweful at low RPM's tho. Kind of kills me, but I love the Sound.

+rep for having that good quality video. I was searching for hours and couldn't find one.

yeah those LM1's did sound like shit. haha. well we can knock that off the list.

And so you are saying, with my H pipe i should stick with chambered such as Flowmaster, what i have now, Magnaflow, or Mac, etc?

So what about Mac. I heard Mac's are Pretty loud as well. Are those somewhere near magnapacks? anyone?
Also what about macs FlowPaths. Are those louder then regular macs?

Regular Mac's are the Flowpath's. And Mac flowpaths are the loudest chambered muffler available. I would say MAC if you're sticking with an o/r h

Flowmaster Super 44s are NICE. they have a very aggressive tone for a Flow.
