Difference from stock tb & plenum on FI

I'll have some extra money in a week or two and i've been looking into a few budget mods $500ish or less. I'm running around 8-9lbs of boost on my procharger right now but i'll be upping it with a smaller pulley soon. Would i be looking at a noticeable gain with a 75mm tb and plenum over the stock since i'm F.I? or would I be better off getting something else?
Thanks

F.I. cars have more to gain with a t/b and plenum. the t/b is nice, but the plenum will yeild more. the stock plenum doesnt flow that well without wome work, aftermarkets are pretty good out of the box.

accufab 75mm combo will give you a good gain. Worth while for any F/I car.

well i just installed an accufab tb and plenum on my car and i just got full exhaust and cai and i noticed a great improvement on throttle response which makes it feel faster so i think it would make a huge improvement in your FI for sure.

LMAF or sct 90mm MAF if you are going to upgrade. you will need a tune with either.

it is possible to see a decrease in boost since the t/b and plenum flow better theres less restrictions. I had my t/b and plenum before i put my s/c on so Im not sure. maybe someone can confirm this. But its def worth it, I noticed a difference on the top end with my stock setup before the blower.

01 GT Vortech at 10psi. With 75mm Accufab TB/PLenum i gained 10 rwhp. That was the only mod that was changed.

Good luck...

Yeah TB and plenum should make a noticeable increase on an FI motor

Generally its the exhaust that decreases the boost.

But even then you get gains. Its all about in and out, as you said boost is resistance. More air will get in, who cares what the actual boost number is. If its a pound lower but gives you 15 more horses, i would take the power
