First of all, i apologize to anyone that i offended a couple of weeks ago.

Alright, i installed my CAI this weekend and it is ridic! But i was just wondering, how do you know if there is an opening or if there isn't anything tightened too well? It will miss won't it?

How about a CEL? Those JLT's dont have lips on the tube, its real easy for it to come lose.

make sure the rubber elbows are on securley as possible, and tighten the crap out of the screws. Had mine on for over a year now was worried about the same thing and it is still on very tight.

If you have a "leak" you'll most likely have idle issues (surging). Make sure everything is tightened up and i'm sure you won't have any problems.

what she said. tighten the crap out of the hose clamps and check and recheck every hose and every joint. i've had mine for a few years and i haven't had any issues...
