Nitrous how to

Alright i used the search and got a lot of info. Now what i need to know is which do you recommend the NEX or ZEX kit, I have found a deal on both. So how do you use the n02. Can you get a window switch and WOT switch for the Zex kit? and were do you get your bottle filled, and how much does it cost? And can i get away with a 100 shot without a tune, I well have a tuner(SCT), well it help? I didnt want to go N02 but a KB is a long way off and i want to take the local camaros and vettes, do you guys think i should get all of this for a car that well not see the track for a couple of years.

nitrous is usually around 3.00-4.50 a pound depending where you are and what the shops want to charge. speed shops are usually where you get them filled. both zex and n/x are great kits, its a personal preference. at 100 shot, you dont need a tune, but to be safe you can pull 1 degree out off stock timing. be sure to run 1 stage colder plugs and 91+ octane fuel. the zex kit has the WOT switch built in the box, a winsow switch and a fpss are other safety items you may want to look into getting.

I'm not really into nitrous, but I heard ZEX is probably the best, mainly because of its system; something about it being electronic and automatically doing...stuff. I'm not sure what makes it so much better, I'm just repeating what I've heard.

Is the install easy? How many runs can you get out of a 10lb bottle? And how do you activate the nitrous, is their a button you press? And can you pull timing with a tuner, And what is the benefit of a bottle opener?

I have a ZEX kit on my 02' GT, the nitrous is activated by you TPS sensor and engages at WOT. I usually get around 90 to 120 seconds off my 14 lb. bottle. Cost is around $35.00 to fill it. Yes you can pull timing with a tuner and the benefit of a bottle opener is that you dont have to reach back and manually open the valve on the bottle when you need it. Make sure you get a bottle heater as you will need it to get the bottle pressure up . If you have any questions on this set up ask me i have all the mods and a lot of info on this subject.

I have an NX kit, and I highly reccomend their products. I have an FJO window switch, trust me if you're new to spray spend the extra money to make it fool proof. NX jetting is more accurate than others. I run a 200 shot, so I had to have a tune. Also I would reccomend a tune for any shot. I get my bottles filled at "Fluid Power" they charge me $5.00 a pound. Also you might want to consider a blow down tube, or purge. I also would reccomend a bottle heater, and remote bottle opener.

nitrous is activated how ever you want it be. usually activated with a toggle switch and a WOT switch. some activate it with a WOT and a push button momentary. i fill my own bottles, i dont have to worry about looking for a shop

I don't really care though. They're close, and they take care of me. I only pay for one of my bottles. The other they hook me up with for free.
