forged Vs. Cryo diped

any one know anything about this? a freind of mine that runs a mod sled had hes whole top end cryo diped,(when you dunk it liqued nitrogen) he said that it makes the parts even stronger then forged parts? not planing on doing a motor up that much any time soon but just thought it was a cool topic.

Stonger than forged parts = FALSE

The cryo process does the exact same thing as heat tempering dose...

It increases the hardness of the metal...but also makes the metal more brittle too.

A forged steel product will always be stronger than a cast steel product of the same mass. (ie...forged crank vs. cast crank)

I'll roger up on the forged parts, and have no idea why anybody who rides on two wheels does anything. W.P.
