Discussing Tuning in the 99-04 Forum. that is wierd. i've never seen a BBK made of plastic......

Yeah. It's not in the fenderwell either. It sits in the stock location.

so do you think a jlt cai and new tb and plenum might give me more bang for my buck over a tuner and gears?

no, gears are one of the best bang for buck mod there is. i'd do those first, honestly...

It was there when I bought the car. Maybe BBK stopped making it or something.

Gears are way better gains than those two things.

i think someone tried building their own Franken-CAI with pieces of other dead CAI's...

gear won't add power. they act as kind of a torque multipier. you will definitely feel the difference with gears. i went from the stock 3.27's to 3.73's and noticed a difference. most guys will tell you to go with 4.10's. when i rebuild my rear, i may go with 4.10's...

i'm sure it is, but it won't be as good as something made from components that are actually engineered to work together lol...
