ALT Problems....Help

A few days ago I devloped a problem....I was driveing along and my battery light started going nuts. Blinking randomly. I check all my connections on my battery and the ground. All looks good to me! It has a new battery and it's 3rd new alternator within a year. At first I thought it was my belt sliping because I was driving it kinda hard and it could be replaced im sure. But i replaced the belt and now It even did it at an idle. But then went away for a few then came back agian.

Then a few days went by and every thing was fine.

Any ideas? I have UDP....they have been on for two years and never had an issue before.

Clif Notes...
-BAT Light freaks out and and the gauge looks fine and dosn't move.
-All Conections are good at the battery. Brand New BATT and ALT less then 3months old. (4th one this year)
- I do have underdrive pullies! Will using the Orgianl pulley on the ALT stop this from happening like every 3 months?
-I know this means my ALT is going bad. But how can i prevent it?
HELP

sounds like you alt is going out, mine did the same thing, and it overcharged and the post on top melted and fried my wire.

This is the 4th time this has happend. I know my ALT is going out! I trying to find a way to prevent it from doing it agian.

I have UDP's, Could this be causin the ALT to go out. If so, what can i do to prevent it without losing my UDP's? Can i keep the stock pulley on the ALT?

could be a ground wire, check all your wire for corrosion, tears, loose connections. also load test your batt

sorry i just reread your post, and you checked the wires, the only thing i can think of is to recheck, and rerecheck all your grounds, and you said the batt is new, i would still take it to autozone and make sure its still good to go. as for the UDP's iv never had probs with them.
