I have called about a dozen performance muffler shops. I talked to one that really seemed to know what he was talking about. He said he replaces Flowmaster 40s and SLPs all of the time with Magnaflows. It seems that everyone wants them really loud until they have to drive all the time with really loud mufflers. So I ordered the Magnaflow weld-ins to replace my Flowmaster 40s.

ok so i just put my magnapacks on today. With my H pipe i think they sound like a race car rather then a mustang. I mean they is tone when you rev it. It sounds great when you rev it and floor it. when you are driving it normally it sounds pretty good. But at 2000-2500 RPM its just a loud SPLAAAAAAATTTT. and that is kinda shitty sounding if you ask me. maybe it just has to grow on me. Not sure. But over all im pretty happy with my packs. They are loud as hell, holy shit.

Complete exhaust 359.00 shipped! 2 day shipping too

and that 2500rpm sound is the famous "BLAT" from straight thru mufflers.

I was thinking about going with some magnaflows or flowmasters to quiet mine down, but you guys have me thinking I will be wasting time and money. I threw my MAC H-Pipe on yesterday and with my LM2's it is super loud with that SPLAT you guys are talking about. Heres' a vid, does it sound louder than Magnaflows?
