i haven't heard a whole lot about those two. ive got a steed tri-ax. aside from that, i'd go with pro5.0

Pro 5.0 hands down. I like the bolts it has to keep you from overthrowin' the gear when shiftin hard

I hear NOTHING but GOOD things about MGW. I've hard that pro 5.0 and tri-ax are okay, compared to the MGW, but MGW is smooth as butter, more so than the other brands, and very short throw. Over all good shifter. Although I have no personal experience with one. I'm gonna get an MGW soon though. Go for that.

mgw FTW. shift stops, short throws, and impossible to miss 3rd unless you cant drive lol

TRI AX FTW... if you misss 3rd with with the tri-ax then you shouldn't be driving anyway. it has shift stops as well for when you're really gettin hard on it. Great shifter!! also adjustable to make your throws even shorter.
