Where could it come from?
ive noticed alot of oil underneath the lower plenum, and it seems that im losing enough oil to have to add some before i do a regular oil change. step dad said valve cover gasket, but just wanted to know if anyone else had the problem or knows of any other components it could be in that area.

if its losing that much that may be good place to start looking. you ought to be able to tell from exactly where its coming from as well. look for a spot that has collected some dirt if your motor is fairly clean.

Id start with the valve cover gaskets as well. Cheap and easy.

Could you take a pic and circle the area in paint or something just to give a little more detailed description of where its coming from? How many miles on the car and such?

it might be, but i call it the intake manifold. anywho, i get alot of oil in TB and it would pool in the bottom of the intake manifold. It came from the PCV system on my car, but after i rebuilt it and put a catchcan in the system it stopped, so it could be comming from that, but there would be a hole in the bottom of the intake manifol, and that would be showing its on symtoms, i really cant think of anything other than 1: valve cover gasket (but you said you checked that) 2: could you have spilt oil on an oil change? iv done it, weve all done it before, hell iv dropped a whole quart of oil on my motor lol i would wash/clean that oil up and check it everyday and see if you can track it down |

i might be fucking something up, but iv never had a car that produced so much oil from the PCV system like my mustang does, take the intake manifold off and find were its coming from, the intake manifold isnt hard to take off, just make sure your motors cold and you follow your lossining/tightning sequences and torque specs when you put it back on, and get an intake maniflod gasket befor you do it, mine tears up everytime i take mine off
