does anyone know how to reprogram keys without going to the dealer?

how many keys do you have? if you only have one or no keys
that are programmed then you have to take it to the dealer

neither one of my keys work right now. they need to be reprogrammed.

then you need to bring it to the dealer. you need a minimum of two already programmed keys to program it yourself. I use to work at a stealership and know the problems with pats thats why as soon as i bought my car i had a 3rd key cut and i programmed it.

My salesman actually looked out for mr. He gave me 3 keys and told me about the section in the owners manual.

You can turn pats off in the tune too.

well a tuner can, but I have heard that hand helds can't do that unless a custom tune is written in it...

If you sign up on Diablo's forums they will send you a tune with PATs disabled or you can send them your current tune and they can edit it.

Pats is the only thing that kept my F150 from being stolen last year when it was broken into. What a bunch of a## h***s, they took one floor mat, my litter bag with litter. At least they didn't tear up the dash when they took the radio. I'm still mad just glad they didn't get my truck.

What did you change, instrument cluster, PCM, PATS transceiver?

PATS fucking suck. Especially if you have a locked tuner. Joe "trick tuners" was able to help me get around it, great guy. And like he said ^ there that a tune can turn it off. Only down side is that your theft light will blink randomly for about 5 min every time you start it, then it will shut off.

u can usually get one cut (make sure u ask them to lube the locks too) but if u only have one key, ur prolly ave to go to ford to get it programed
