ECM crapped out

where can i find a used computer for a 2003 mustang GT. iv checked ebay but iv only seen 3.8 computers. i just need one to hold me over for right now. i cant afford the ball busting dealership. iv googled but no luck. my current computer is the XSH1. oh yeah, manual transmission. i need this car, its my dd

You sure your computer is bad? its very rare. like a 1 in 5000000. I thought mine was (even getting pcm error codes) and it wasnt.

I was the 1 in 500000

but wasnt due to a ford problem...was due to a tune shop basically frying it then making it work in the tune.

i was looking at the MPS website the other day and clicked the link to their ebay store. i remember seeing tons of ECU's so i figured i'd take a look there. glad to help you out...

yeah, the car keeps stallin out. gotta stay heavy on the gas to keep it alive.

the first mustang i ever drove did that too. bogged down and it was the dogon hose clamps

try reseting the computer? checking all spark plugs to make sure one didn't blow out?

check fuel as well

A lot of cheaper things to replace before swapping ecu. Like air/fuel filter, spark plugs and such.

check the codes...gotta start simple. Bogging down can be many different things. Could be as simple as a vacuum leak, bad o2 sensor, bad tps, etc etc etc
