hood opinion and side scoop question

okay so two things
what do you people think of this hood?
looks a little weird IMO but it may look good on a done up mustang, not just a stock one?
i dunno, its like the gt500 one

and does anyone know where i can find bullitt side scoops?
50resto used to have them and now they dont.

don't really like the hood.. i think someone on here is selling some bullitt side scoops.. there used to be some ppl on ebay that sold fiberglass ones.. and California Mustang Parts - Order classic Ford mustang parts, accessories, gifts and more. 800-775-0101 sells them, too

im pretty sure my car was in an accident before i bought it, and there is bondo all over the side of the car

a hood like that matches the body lines of the s197 better i think, it seems like somebody on here took pictures when they removed theirs but i don't remember who it was

damn lol
i noticed a while after i buought the car the side scoop around it, started to crack and peel so i like pulled on it a bit and the whole thing came off and there was news paper shoved inside the scoop and it was just siliconed on, no clips or nothing, so i dont know if i can just sand the bondo down or if i need a new quarter panel

you have the full side scoops, right? not the 1/4 scoops like on the sixers and early year new edges? im not sure when they switched.. but maybe all it is was where the previous owner put the diff scoops on it

yeah ive got the fulls but the drivers side is fine, and the passenger side is all fucked. i bought a new sidescoop same full one and it doesnt fit right at all, theres bondo all around and i dont want to sand it down and get it repainted to find out it fits even worse.

if you have a body shop that is kind of local.. ask them their opinion, they might say it's fine, they might say it's not.. that'd prob be your best bet for a definitive answer, though

i would but the only bodyshops around here are either seedy as fuck, or do shitty jobs
like all we have for bodyshops here is maaco, so you can imagine..

that sucks man... you don't know somebody.. who knows somebody.. who knows a guy who does body work do you? lol there's bound to be somebody that's good at it in your area from restoring his classics.. ask around, you might get lucky lol
