My new shift light

I got my raptor shift light and was going to put it in the vent, but i wanted it right infront of me. I couldnt put it on the top of my cluster cause that is where my A/F gauge is, so i decided to put it in the cluster.

Here is a pic and video of it set at 2500 for demonstration purposes.

And since i had to do some changes to the raptor i need a place to put the actaul body of it so i opted for my glove box.

That is awesome bro! Looks like it turned out great. I can't wait to see it in person.

I hope you remember how you did it all, because we are doing it to my car now! You just convinced me to quit being a bastard and finally get a shift light.

Looks good man, you are a geniouse!

Yeah it wont be a problem, the hardest part was seperating the soldered conections to seperate the led board from the main board

Credits for installation but I feel, and not to be a destructive ass in any way, think that square guage thing in the center looks a little awkward like a cheap digital clock placed with velcro or double sided tape. I would move that somewhere else. It also doesn't appear to show actual RPMS/sample 2500 shift point, but I am sure you can change that reading...I say auto meter FTW. Just my oppinion. again it is a great installation!

Yeah it is there with tape. It is my UGEO a/f gauge. It was in it when i bought it and was attached to the side of the center console and i hated it there cause i couldnt see it. So i moved it to where it is now.

I would like to have a round gauge style, but i cant see buying a new gauge when this one works fine. When i get my new bezel with the two gauge pods in it I will mold a pocket for the a/f gauge to slide into at the top.

If your talking about my factory tach not showing 2500 rpms then you are correct, but from what i understand our factory tach isnt very accurate anyways. Hence one of the
reasons i bought a shift light.

I set it at 2500 so i could show how it looked when it lit up without having to rev my motor to high.

That square box is an A/F gauge not a tach.

That really depends on what mods are done to the car. The absolute best is to get the car on a dyno and see at what RPM it stops making power. Than set the shift light there.

But for a stock car like yours I would set it at ~5500 RPM or at least not much after the redline starts on your stock tach.

Thanks everyone!!!!!

And i set mine at 5500 cause i stop making power at 5600 so that gives me a 100 rpm cushion.
