Exhaust Manifold bolt broke off inside head
I started my header install this weekend. When removing the left side exhaust manifold one of the studs broke off inside the head. This sucks so much. What do you guys suggest I do?

Your gonna have to drill that out. you may be able to drill into it and use and extractor to pull it out. If not drill as much as you can and it should fall apart and you can just remove wuts left.

as long as its just a hole where the bolt goes in, and not a hollow tube where you can drill straight thru inside the block you should be good to jst try and drill it until it breaks...
but wait until more people see this thread and you'l get more opinions

Try getting a left hand drill bit from sears. If the bit catches it will spin the broke off bolt out. Sears has a bunch of stuff for extractions like that.

So it sounds like I'm going to have to take the head off, cause theres no way I can get a drill in that little space. Man, I hate that! If that's the case I might consider upgrading to PI heads. Anyone got PI's for sale?
