clutch question

so on my clutch there is like 2 spots where if i let up just a little too fast the car studdars but doesnt kill and its really annoying, is that common?

if you car has cruise control....

go 30 miles an hour in 3rd gear. put CC on. Now shift into 5th. If the it bogs, clutch is somewhat fine. If RPMs climb your slippin...

Thats how I was taught to tell if I had a slipping clutch

but it is abotu that time anyway. AVOID SPEC STAGE 1!!!

i always run about 30-35mph, put in 5th, rev to 6k, dump clutch. if it slips, get a new one.

and you could do that if you didnt have cruise control. Relatively the same thing

well everything must be ok, set the cruise at 30 in 3rd then shifted to fifth and the rpms just went down, maybe its just me

Ill agree with both yoe guys. Ive heard nothing but amazing things about the stage 2, and nothing but bad (and from personal exp) that the stage 1 blows.

I may not be grasping what the cruise control is doing for you, but if you set the cruise in third gear and shift to 5th, as soon as you push the clutch in the cruise turns off, so yes the rpm will just drop.

never mind, thats a long trip just for a clutch change. but if you feel up to it, i would be glad to do all swap for ya if you wanted to drive down here.
