More problems. Help

ok so my trans is just fucked up. its all little stuff it seems like but the labor on this shit is just killing me. But anway, i have a list of problems with my car.

First off my Rear output seel is leaking trans fluid. So i need a new seal. No big deal i guess. But while im in there you have to take off the Drive shaft i believe so i might as well buy an Aluminum DS while im at it.

Second my Rear Crank seal is leaking. Do i need to pull the trans to fix this problem????

Next I have a 3rd gear grind which i've made countless threads about and read other peoples problems, but i think my problems may be loss of trans fluid. and im giong to try and install and Short Shifter and see if that fixes the problem. hopefully it does. If that doesn't then looks like im going to need another rebuild kit. what do you guys think of my theory??

4th i need a new clutch. this is my first manual car and although i do not regret getting a manual, but all this shit just sucks. my warranty expired 30 days ago and of course, just my luck all this happens. i need to catch a break somewhere. Thanks for letting me Vent haha.

Yes, you have to pull the d/s to change the tailshaft seal, yes you have to pull the tranny to change the rear crank seal, as well as the clutch and flywheel. Probably syncro but I am sure you've heard that before. My theory is if you have to pull the tranny to change the seal, you might as well get that tranny checked out and fixed if necessary while you have it out. Great time to change the clutch and resurface the flywheel, too.

yup haha. all this can be done at the same time which is good i guess. But man this cost so much. See i work at a dodge dealership which one of the mechanics said he'd do it but obviously he is not a certified ford Tech. and our Master Transmission Tech quit 5 weeks ago. Im just nervous the Tech who usually works on my car might be in too deep of water with the trans stuff but im not sure. he will do all this stuff for me really cheap. he seems to think he can do it all. he said automatic trans is the tuff shit, so we'll see. I think he is a level 3 in trans. i think 4 is the best. not sure.

the trans not too big of a deal if he's just checking it out. as for everything else, its not a big deal to fix.
