STS turbos blow man, cheap quality and lag like none other, go with hellion or some other reputable brand.

They say no lag, Turbo have lag no matter what system you have. Now add 10 more feet of pipe and it only gets worse. Its not bad but theres no reason not to put it up front.

Their reason for putting it in place of your muffler is so they're able to get a CARB number, because it doesn't touch the cats.

sts is trash... the lag is 5-6secs longer than front mount.. the turbos are junk.. the internals fuck up and blow out.. and font plain on driving your car in the rain or anything if you get that sorry kit.. plus is sounds like a whistle blowing like those cheap things you can get on ebay..

you still need to do alot of fabbing with these custom kits. One of my buddies got one and obviously they arent the best quality. But he actually took his time fabbing up the piping and made sure he didnt really cut corners and he made a pretty sick turbo hit. What are you going to do for turbo manifolds?

well the reason they run it down under the rear is for cooling so it doesnt require an intercooler.. and im sorry but i would never consider there product junk they make some very impressive numbers with these kits and as far as quality goes its not as bad as some of you are making it out to be.. just my 2 cents

it doesnt say no lag at all it says there turbos will reach full boost before 3000rpm's

With the turbo located in the rear of the vehicle, is there turbo lag?
No, due to extensive engineering and proper sizing of the turbos and piping, the turbochargers operate very well at this remote location. All of our systems will produce full boost below 3000 rpm. If you were to take a front-mount turbo system and place it at the rear, you would have lag issues, and similarly, our turbo system wouldn't work properly if front-mounted. Also, our intake tubing volume is about the same as most conventional turbo setups that are running a front-mounted intercooler, and is less than many of them that run large intercoolers. Our system is not like a small compressor filling up a large air tank, it is like a huge compressor filling up a very small volume. Our systems compress the intake tubing in about .05 seconds. If our patented and innovative rear-mounted technolgy had problems with turbo lag, we would not have the large number of happy customers that we have today. Please visit our Testimonials page for more insight.

im not saying i want one its just another route for the turbo people out there.. and do you know from personal experience that these turbos " blow " theres a few gto's around here and they ride out there pretty damn fast.. aswell as trans am and trailblazer ss and they seem to have no problems..

STS kits are good for a turbo system on a budget. They make decent power and they aren't that bad. They also have a splash gaurd kit that you can buy to help keep water from getting in places it does not belong.

They are for sure not the best quality or performer but they are a fraction of what any other name brand front mount system will cost you.

Personally, I would just shell out the cash for a higher quality front mount system.
