new best and something broke

ran a 12.81@103 n/a and a 11.79@115, but broke on my wife on the last pass of the night. it sounds like a top end issue, but it will look into it more in the next couple days. i made 5 passes, and on the 6th pass it broke. she was not on the bottle, on nitrous tune (no timing), broke about 1/8 mile down the track.

how big of shot were you running tonight? at least you got into the 11's i dont remember what numbers you were shooting for specifically but you got the bitch in the 11's haha.

i ran a 150 shot. i ordered more jets from n/x, but the pricks sent the wrong nitrous jet. goal was 11.7 for me not to blow it up when i got home, was wanting to see 11.6.

You're not sure what broke though? If it's your engine, I see you're still on the stock long block; this just gives you a reason to build that puppy up and throw more juice at it, and maybe a blower if you're into those!

Sorry about the breakage. Hopefully it's something minor.....like a plug, coil pack or something. Making any noise?

the noise is a small knock. its sounds top end, like if its a valve issue maybe. it got a small knock if you hold the rpm's up over idle. its not anything "catastrophic" as of yet, if its valve issue i just hope it didnt beat the piston or head up too bad. the car still has good oil pressure right now and not leaking anything as of yet.

my suspension mods are gms upper and lower control arms, tokico hp struts, my tokico shocks did not come in on time so i was still on my stockers, frpp c springs, threw in a couple spring spacers in right rear to help getting out of the hole, qa1 k, and cobra a-arms.

the plenum isnt bad, the only complaint i have is the holes need to be chased thru with a tap, they werent ran all the way thru for the t/b.

i was only pulling 1.7 60 fts, the cold weather was making it a little tricky getting out of hole.

i have 3.73's, i didnt power shift that pass. i wish she would of got the other run where i did 1-2 and 3-4. the car isnt actually broke yet, just not 100% right.
