Convertible W/ Tint

So I have been planning on getting my windows tinted on my mustang then on the way to work I saw an AUDI convertible on my way in to work this morning with the top down and the windows partly up and they were tinted and it just struck me as odd then it dawned on me that if i tint my windows it may just look weird. Has anyone seen an 03 vert with tinted windows? How's it look? any pics?

most of the time all convertibles look stupid with the windows up
so just deal with it lol

yeah i cant stand seeing people with the windows up and top down.. its a convertible its supposed to mess up your hair.. Which i dont plan on having the windows up while i have the top down but i live in colorado so half the year the top is up whether i like it or not. I dont wanna sport a goofy lookin Stang..

Im eventually getting windows tinted on my vert. Wont look weird, will be badass. Unless your one of the stupid people with windows up top down

Only time my windows are up and top is down is if i get a phone call. then they go right back down.

Only if i get a call. Its not too bad with windows up kind of shielding it by making it face window (use right ear).

if you drive with your windows down with the top down it wont matter. ive got my windows tinted and i love it. i never have the windows up with the top down.

The iPhone doesn't have good sound to begin with and has a very sensitive microphone. If I had any other phone it'd prolly work out lol. Even with the windows down I have some, not 100% difficulty but just some difficulty hearing people. But I don't even try with the top down ha

There's a pic in my garage where you can see my tint. Not as dark as I'd like, but it was on there when I bought the car. Maybe someday I'll take it off and redo it.... Main thing holding me up is taking the tint off the rear window is going to be a PITA.

well i guess i will find out how good it looks in about 8 hours! I took it to the tint shop last night. I am going with 20% all around.. as soon as i get a chance and get her all cleaned up I will put up some pics..

doesnt mean a thing...just tint them. If the top is down then the windows should be down. Dont tint them too dark and when the top is down and light floods the interior they wont even look tinted.

Some people actually preferred the look of my vert with the top/windows up. I had 35% on fronts, and 5% on quarters and rear windshield.
