weird noise

i feel stupid by asking this question, but i would like to try to find the problem without taking it to someone. there is a squeking noise under my car when the clutch is out, and it goes away when you push the clutch in. this occurs even while driving. if a little pressure is put on the clutch pedal it goes away as well. i have an 02 get 5spd. can anyone help?

throw out bearing maybe? just a guess

Deffinantly a throw out bearing. I had the same problem on my Mach. If you get it replaced you might as well go ahead and get a new clutch while your in there. Prices really depend on the clutch that you choose.
