Some K-members will accept Stock A-arms and some tubular A-arms will accept stock springs. Depends on the brand

I run a upr kit with tubular A-arms and coilovers

QA1 can accept stock A-Arms.

UPR will need either the rest of the kit OR, you can snag a-arms and a spring perch from a 5.0 (there's one other part too, I forget which one off the top of my head)... but will bring your wheels almost an inch inwards.

I putting together a little coil over set up myself. The QA1 I can confirm comes with the spring perches for stock spring placement. I also have so far, QA1 tubular a-arms. What I need to get to complete my kit are Bilstein struts, UPR coil over conversion kit, QA1 500lb linear rate springs for the front, bumpsteer kit and Caster camber plates.

For the rear, I'm planning on either Eibach or H&R springs with Bilstein shocks. I have CHE Upper and lower control arms pending installation(thanks Faon)

Hope that helps.

That is a new kit, but your right I am sure you can find some kits for less that are factory defects or cheaper manufacturers on ebay.

If I were going with a QA1, I would get this one and use the stock a-arms.

eBay Motors: QA1 MU1TK 1996-2004 MUSTANG TUBULAR K-MEMBER (item 360085738798 end time Nov-03-08 07:00:01 PST)

Otherwise, I would definately pay a little more for this one if I was getting a kit. It just looks stronger to me.

96-04 K-MEMBER AND COIL-OVER KIT, 4.6L, WITH 12" 200lb COIL OVER SPRINGS MUSTANG
