do you have enough power to warrant a spec stage 2?

Actaully getting a stage 2 wont hurt anything even with a stock GT... Just as long as you get the low version of the Stage 2. I think they have a Stage 2+ or something, get the lower of the 2.
Alot of people get the stage 2 as prep for a little more power, so it's definatly fine on the stock power rating. As for the flywheel, I'd get one that has a removeable friction pad. Aluminum will yield a slight power increase, but they are quite a biut more in price.

Unless you have a true drag car thats running 10s or 9s or some shit, aluminum is the way to go. I hear that with high hp cars, that you NEED the steel flywheel for more strength... Dont quote me on that though.
For 90% of our applications though, I'd go with an aluminum flywheel. Also, thanks for the reps good sir.

It would have the exact same effect as say an aluminum driveshaft...
Yes its in the clutch, but it has the exact same concept. Freeing up rotational mass. Remember how heavy your stock flywheel was? It's pretty damned heavy for what it is. Imagine a little less than half that. That's what an aluminum flywheel comapred to a stock flywheel is like.
