You'll get more looks than hp gains. And it costs a ton of money to do the switch.

+1...not worth it at all...aside from buying the shaker system which is like $600...dont you also gotta buy a hood? unless u cut ur stocker...its not worth all that work for no HP gains and certainly not worth the money...but...thats my opinion

ill.. not that reverse scoop. the cowl hood would look ugly on a 4.6. For a 5.0 that is another story but for the 99-04 i would keep the stock scoop (not the anniversary verson thougt).

Dude. The shaker system is a waste. It'd probably be more constructive to buy an old person a speedo. And that's not at all constructive.

Just get a wicked cowl hood, or even the Night Stalker hood if you want a more vicious look. If it's the scoop you actually wanted,

195.00, EASY installation, no cutting the new hood & it's pre-primed ready for paint. Took me no time at all for my other stang, looks great.

a company called KarKraft sells a mach 1 shaker for 595. its a ford shaker but with a special bracket to bolt to a 2v setup. a oem ford mach hood is probably around 400-500 bucks. the cheapest way is to get the bracket which they sell separate and get a used airbox and a used hood. i myself love the mach shaker setup. the aftermarket ones u can get look cheap to me. if i ever do the swap it will be with the acutal mach 1 parts.

the site is karkraft.com

they sell alot of other crap too.....anyone need a ford GT engine? they will hook u up with one if u have an extra 45k laying around....they are supposed to be getting GT500 engines soon...that will be around 15k probably.[/url]
