Trying to save mulah on labor

Alright. So, this week is my week off & I have a mess of parts in finally. I'm trying not to blow the rest of my money on labor though. What do you think it'd be safe for me to attempt to install myself/what could I install myself.

I have no transmission exp. and I have high exp. with electrical systems and some moderate mechanical.

Mods that need to happen:

FRPP 4.10 Gears
SLP Loudmouth II Exhaust System & SLP Catted XPIPE
Black Mustang Spyder Wheels + Tires (Tires already mounted & balanced)
Lentech Strip Terminator Full Manual Valve Body
B&M Ratchet Shifter (To replaced stock shifter, fits in console)

I am guessing, I can *probably* install the shifter. It seems easy, based on the instructions it came with.

The rest, I imagine I'm going to need to have someone do.

Any guesses at what it'll cost, and any ways i can save?

exhaust and wheels should be easy as well if your not keeping the stock exhaust just get a tube cutter and cut it into peices to take it out lay it all out first then put it on peice by peice should take bout an hour. wheels if they are already mounted and ballanced then they will just bolt on its like changeing a tire...only your doing it 4 times lol

Alright, wheels I know. Bolt on. Easy breezy. Exhaust, I Heard if I get someone to do it will cost me 200 bucks. I am not keeping the stock.

Like I said LM II system and an X pipe. Is it just a straight forward job or am I going to need any special tools or what? Not experianced at all with exhaust? I don't need to weld it?

Well if you have a jig saw you can use that to cut the exhaust and its a breeze to take off the only problem I had was getting it back on it was a pita to get it around the axle but it just takes some jacks and a little finese the x pipe should be no problem. As far as welding goes I just got mine tack welded at the local muffler shop for $15. If you want to get them put on it should not cost more than $75 thats what I was qouted before I found I had no more money and did it myself.

thats true, the gears are the best. I have another stang. But, I also have MVBS in my other stang and a ratchet shifter and it's amazing, especially when I'm racing. I can decide shift points way better than my car (despite popular beleif)

and stock wheels don't look good. I love my car to handle the muscle, but I learned from my other stang, looks count too.

Well, the install went well. On what I've done so far. Cramped for time. I'm suspended from work for the day and it's nice out so I am working at it. Thus far, the Corbeau racing seats with 5 buckle harness are installed. The ratchet shifter. Gears tomorrow. MVBS are on their way as soon as I can.
