Dipstick Broke!
***I have a 2002 Yellow Mustang GT***
Well Nuts...an idiot mechanic broke my dipstick about 4" from the handle and then tried to get the main piece out...pushing the bottom part further down in...how the heck do I get it out now? HELP! |

I haven't checked on my vehicle yet, but on most cars you can just pull the dipstick tube out completely (the tube and dipstick together) some cars have a tab that holds the tube in place and it is easy to remove. But the dipstick tube should just press-fit into the oil pan.

Go to advance or auto zone and get a long flexible magnet and put that in there to pull it out.
