I dont want to say bs but i hope you mean from a dig right, and on some really sticky tires, at the track right? There is no way from a roll. I know tons of cars with 600+ rwhp and no one lifts the tires off the ground 4 feet on the street.

Yeah ever time I go to the south west I noticed that. Plus we have no emission testing. Good to be a redneck if you're into the car hobby.

My car only sees 94 octane here in Michigan

for awhile I was paying less than $2/gal for 94. This morning I paid 2.20.

It was a Sunoco station but it's closed now. I think there's one in the next town which is about 20 miles down a windy 2 lane road.

Yeah thats who sells my 94 octane. A few Citgos right on woodward selling 100+ octane, I dont know the exact number but I'm wanting to say 107 or 110.

Only 4-5/gal last time I checked.

4.6/5.4L Romeo* PI 2V SOHC CNC Full ported cylinder heads with 1mm oversize stainless valves and Crower high pressure springs and steel retainers. We use only new castings direct from Ford Racing for the highest quality cylinder heads around. These new castings are thicker for better strength and use the spark plugs with longer threads - the only way to go for a power adder application! *REQUIRES 11-BOLT VALVE COVERS!

I paid 1200 for my Patriot Stage II's....and they make great power....they work and run fine........if I am going to pay 2000 + for some heads I will wait for the TFS R's.....should flow another 40-50 more CMF and have all the upgrades that the PI heads need......not nocking the ported PI by any means.....just why pay the same price for a ported stock head when you can buy an aftermarket head that is superior.......well....we shall see...lol

You tell me. Patriot heads are stock head castings that were rejected because of issues with them.

Jive is running them and they seem to be ok. Maybe it's hit or miss.

It is. Some of them are better than others. Some people have them, and they run great...some people have them, and their car is fubar'd about that. Thats too expensive for a hit or miss in my mind.

Who ever started that rumor....lol.....they had issues prior to 04 due to the valve guide that were used in the f-150's...since most of there casting were truck heads.....same as PI....its just where they were built at a different plant which used a different material for the guides......which wasn't great for High RPM applications....they since fixed those problems and been fine ever since......its kinda funny how people complain of parts being expensive and when a company produces a good product for cheap they bash them saying its inferior......not saying they are the best heads by any means....but they are qualitly and perform near the same as heads priced at 2000.00.....I know of a twin turbo car that layed down over 900 hp with Patriot Stage II heads that Texas Hot Rods built....no issues at all with them.....used a VT Built shortblock with a .20 overbore.......Granted there are better assembled heads out there......especially race head companies or people that specialize in machine work for really tight tollerances........but they are the best bang for the buck and work thru any issue...........

I can only imagine they did fix it. I mean a company needs to keep a good reputation and what company wouldn't try to do that, that was in their right mind. It's kind of like MAC used to have fitment issues with their LTs. I think that's been put to bed now. If you develop something new or it comes to any kind of modifying your going to run into snags.
