Supposedly since the valves a relocated you run big cams without notching. You can see how the valve springs are on different sides for exhaust and intake.

My heads flow 218 a increase of 58 over stock. If you could port the trick flow head and increase it by 58 then that would put it over 300 at 650 lift.

i wonder how long till they have cam issues. the cams for our cars are designed for the valves to be on one side so are they gonna have special rockers or are we going to have to get special cams

I love the fact that the intake valve is "canted" and you can run as much as .600 lift camshafts, flow's are looking good too

if they make these heads legal for NMRA and NHRA, I'd buy a set (or 2) inna' NY minute...if they don't or won't, I'll stick wth my high-dollar SVO D-46 heads

i'm glad i've waited on doing heads and cams. even if they are more expensive than heads currently on the market, IMO, they're worth it for the numbers...

The TW 4.6 head will be available in 2 chamber sizes (38cc and 44cc) to work with both PI and non PI engines. The intake valve was relocated to the other side of the cam. They have 1.84 intake and 1.45 exhaust valves and we use a beehive spring that is capable of .600" lift. With the way the valves are located in the head you will have piston to valve clearance well over the .600" lift.

The flow numbers you have seen are from the "as cast" 185cc runners. Right now as cast they flow 240@ .600 on the intake and 185 on the exhaust. I will tell you that there is a lot of room for cnc or port work to be done and some of the numbers mentioned earlier in this post are easily obtainable!!

For those of you asking about pricing I will tell you that they will be priced in the same range as some of the stage III ported heads out there. Pricing should be hammered out by the end of the year and you can call our dealers to get that information.

I would like to be able to sit on here all day and answer questions but I need to get back to the booth.

Thanks, Gregg
Getting in late to the conversation here...This head looks like it will change the whole 2v spectrum once solid test results, track time/street time, and dyno time come in from shops that get their hands on these bad boys . (Above said "Quote" was posted on ModularFords.)

That's amazing news! I have a quick question though, what's the difference between a 2v motor with those heads vs a 4v motor now?

Lets say you have a '03/'04 Cobra motor, took off the blower, and kept it N/A. Now say the 2v motor was sticking to N/A as well. So assuming the same mods were done to the car, lets just say heads and cams, and both motors were flowing 240 CFM, what would the difference be, besides the obvious fact that the Cobra motor is a 4v and has a built bottom end?

Also, you know how the stock 2v heads are better than 4v heads for low end torque, like around under 4,000 RPMs? Will these heads change that?

Another thing I almost forgot, does this mean the motor can spin at RPMs as high as the Cobra motor, assuming you had a built bottom end?

Thanks!

I figured out how to rephrase my last question. Our 2v motor's power band ends at around 5,800 RPMs. Now, assuming I had those heads flowing at around 240 CFM, and assuming the engine and rotating assembly could handle it, would that mean that I could rev up to RPMs as high as the Cobra, and the power band wouldn't drop off at 5,800 RPMs, but rather, keep climbing?
