im gona have to invest in a set of these. thats quite a lil chunk of change but damn i like the idea of how much potential the ol Gt can have now.

with that being said...what do you guys think a good cam will be to run in these bad boys? They are gona flow a lot of air. Also since the valves have been relocated a little bit will the pistons still have to be notched for a wild cam?

If I remember correctly, the pistons can stay as they are. I also remember someone saying that Trickflow is working on making a some cams for the heads also.

i wonder the specs on em out of the box.
the dss heads i have in my car come straight from dss with 50cc vs the trick flow 44cc so you may still have to spend more money on the trick flow once you get them

Your theory makes no sense. The value you are referrring to is a measurement of combustion chamber volume, which affects compression and (in general) has nothing to do with actual air flow by itself. The 44cc chamber will simply give you a higher compression ratio. Your heads come "straight from DSS with 50cc" CHAMBERS because the stock heads are at about 42cc's to begin with, and DSS makes a few chamber modifications which result in a larger chamber.

all bs aside... asking your opinion ac... are the heads worth buying and then having them ported? will they flow that much more over a well ported stock head? i was gonna buy a rotating assembly this tax season... looks like that might turn into heads if its worth the money...

I think at least on paper trick flow heads have some real potential. Can't wait to see some one push them.

Nice. From what I can see by a quick search online is that they are cheaper and will most likely outperform Sean Hyland and Livernois Motorsports

They are more expensive that Livernois, but less than Sean Hyland. Looks like they will be a major contender in the aftermarket head race.

I might have been mistaken about the pricing. I just found this post: Damn! Livernois Motorsports has fixed our 2v heads.

Seems the heads I saw online from Livernois were not exactly the best they offer. These look very impressive, but the price is a bit much for me.
