03 s281 question
alright guys heres my questions are the bassani mid length headers worth it? i love the sound my bassani o/r x pipe sounds with the flow masters but i think i could make a tad bit more power if i took off thoes stock manifolds but would it be worth changing the sound? my current mods are listed below o yea and would a large MAF help at all?
i have a jlt cold air intake, 75mm throttle body and plenum, had Houston performance grind me some cams 531/531 lift 292 duration 110 lobe separation, pro 5.0 short throw, stock manifolds, bassani off road x pipe, magnaflow cat back with american thunder flows welded in, the under drive pulleys that saleen put on there and the race craft suspension, frpp 3.73 gears, frpp aluminum drive shaft, and a chip with a dyno tune from houston performance |

I would do long tubes personally, but everybody has an opinion. There's probably plenty of sound clips on the net of different exhaust combos. It will make a difference as far as hp goes, but nothing outrageous. If you do slap some f/i on it, that's where you'll get your most hp out of them. As far as the MAF goes, I wouldn't change it unless it's pegged out. Since you have a chip you'll have to go to a dyno to find that out.

lol thanks i wanted to go a little bigger but they said i would have to cut into the piston to avoid valve tap.... so yea .. im a pay check to pay check kinda guy so that was outa the question lol

umm you know its been a while but i went south and paid them to put it in so with labor the cams and the chip and dyno tune was i think like 1100? or 1200 i cant really remember New Page 1 did it they are pretty bad ass
