WOT switch question

To follow up my other post on nitrous, without sounding like I'm running topics together, I need to ask a question about the WOT switch alone. I figure that at wide open throttle is begins to inject nitrous and fuel together (wet kit). I want to know for what duration, or how much. Does it continue to spray until throttle closes up some, or does it shoot a certain alotted amount at wide open throttle instead? if that makes sense. Basically, does it continue to shoot constantly at WOT, or shoot increments at every WOT? Like if I was granny shifting a race, everytime I let off the gas to shift, then stomped it back down, would it just shoot, off, shoot, off, shoot, off, or would it do something different? I'm trying to make this make sense, its not coming how I see it in my head, but maybe someone understands my question.

a WOT switch is only a mini switch placed near the throttle body. when the linkage touches it, it closes the circuit. so when ever the switch is closed it will spray.

so basically it just sprays whatever the system is set on to spray the entire time the throttle is open, and then stops when throttle is closed...no lag, and no continuance of spraying after throttle closes...right?
