Car wont start! loud clicking only!

Sucks. Try pulling fuses one at a time and pull the neg cable off to see if it still sparks. Just a thought.

or if u have another car ,friends car,or parents car take there battery out an put it in ur an see if it starts,then when u go to auto zone u will know what u need

Sounds like a dead battery to me. If the battery keeps dying maybe the alternators bad in conjunction or you got a bad ground somewhere? just my thoughts

i had a problem like this a few months ago. my battery was less than a year old and was working fine, just like the alt and starter (i hd them all tested). sometimes, the car would just randomly not start. while i never really figured out what the problem was, i found that if i loosened the negative battery cable and rotated it clockwise just a little bit, the car would start right up. this leads me to believe that there's a short in there somewhere. until it becomes a big enough problem that my "band-aid" won't work, i don't plan on messing with it...

if you suspect the alternator.. just start the car up and yank off the negative lead on the battery.. if the car dies.. bad alternator.. lol

My stang is a weekend ride and I had the same problem about battery drainage. I just went to my local advanced auto parts and bought a battery quick disconnect terminal for $5.00. All i have to do now is turn the knob, the battery makes contact and it's ready to go.

You always get a little spark because PATS system draw's a little power to monitor itself.
