what solution is best for tint

what does everybody else use for tinting windows.i alwasy use a little bit of dawn with warm water....what is best for it

can anybody do steps for tinting window from taking off fatory tint to putting it on i wanna try to do it myself

Dude its so much easier to pay someone who knows what they're doin then to try it and get all pissed off cause you wasted money on buying the supplies but can't get it right.

i would not pay to have mine done when i can do it myself.i have done every vehicle i have owned .i just wanted to know what everybody else was using.i was thinking about trying a different solution next time

Thats awesome if you can do it yourself cause Im jealous lol. The guy I take my car too uses a regular squirt bottle filled about 1/4 of the way with any dawn product b/c its pretty oily and then uses warm tap water to dilute the solution.

thats all i do just not 1/4 with dawn maybe a few drops of it...ive heard ppl use baby oil an shampoo.one of the tint shops around here using something,dunno what it is but dam it has a strong smell to it ..my friends car had a rough odor from it...then he let me tint his the next time an didnt smeel at all lol its not hard to tint just take ur time a pratice,my first tint job was the back window of a bronco 2 lol it was a mess

Yeah I tried to tint my other car and I couldn't get anything right I did it step by step that same way my tint guy did the stang and I got frustrated b/c i spent the money on supplies and effed everything up so i just took back to him and was done it 15min or so lol.
