Got my cc plates on

how do you know what is a good degree to put shocks at? How much adjusting do you guys actually do, or do you just let the shops align them and dont touch it? I also put on Tokico 5 way adj. struts on the front, with my springs.

you should work close to alignment specs to stay outta trouble.you might wanna add some negative camber (moving strut toward the back of the car) to increase high speed stability and maybe some negative camber(moving strut towards engine)to increase front grip.By adding negative camber you wear the tires on the inside more.add a degree
more negative caster and a half a degree more negative camber for the street. You may also wanna ask Maximum Motorsports or Kenny Brown on a good alignment setup.

If you didnt add them already you should install a k member brace and a strut tower brace to limit the flex that can change your alignment since the strut towers and k member definitely flex a good amount

Not to be picky, but may cause some confusion to the OP.

Don't recommend the strut tower brace, but rather sub-frame connectors and tubular "K" member if you want to improve strength of chasis.

What are your goals for your ride in this reguard?

Jazzer minds want to know

well i want even wear on the tires, so it would have to be flat on the ground, straight up and down. And if im getting it aligned, should i even mess with it?

and to Jazzer, im not too worried bout the k member. Ill be putting on a supercharger eventually, and some more engine work, head cams mainly. But not really going for track worthy

a half a degree more negative camber would give you more grip up front and would cause the tires to wear a very minimal amount more than normal. dont forget to add no more than a degree more negative caster(does not affect tire wear) if you want the car to be more stable at speed. you should take advantage of the C/C plates.
