im going nuts
i can not find cats for my car that are california complient does any one who acttully lives here have any aftermarket cats or a mid pipe system that has passed the california smog check i can not figuer out what i need to do

Why don't you check a junk yard. There's a Ford Wrecking Yard in Placentia (near Anaheim) that has pretty much everything. Give 'em a call if your willing to make a trip up hear. 714-993-2110

Damn dude I just called, and I think you did too cause they were like "uhhh...you already called me". Anyways they said that it's against the law to sell used cats. Sorry man!

hopefully i can find some one on here in socal that is willing to sell one i wonder if i just weld up some cats to my h pipe if it will pass ive herd ppl say it will pass sniffer with just two cats but i dont know why they come factory with 4 dont the 96-98s only have 2 cats factory

haha i wish. both my 96 and my 98 came with 6 cats...yes I did say SIX. It's rediculous. I'm almost positive it'll pass with two high flow cats like from Magnaflow.
