Which Mufflers?
Ok, so i cant decide on what type of mufflers to get. I want to get an o/r x pipe and then top it off with some mufflers that sound good but arent too loud(slp1's). I just gotta be carefull because the fuzz is gonna be all over me cause im 16 with a red mustang. BTW im in Florida so i guess that may help a little, i hear they dont care as much. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

SLP LM2s are pretty damn loud too. I say go with Mac w/prochamber.

bassani. Love mine. Its a nice note and not too loud driving around. But when you stomp on it its nice and loud. Quieter than some, louder than some... utube is your friend, so many exhaust setups you can hear for yourself.

if you go with an o/r x, then I would go with flowmasters, those just sound dirty!

id say Magnaflow should suit you pretty well if you dont want loud, loud. and then if you want to go the loudest with a chambered muffler then your going to want Mac's. I think magnaflows sound great with an X pipe though on a 2v

+1 on Magnaflows. I drove 400-500 miles per week for two years with Flowmaster 40s. They sound great but kill your ears if you have to drive any distance at all. I contacted a lot of muffler shops in the area asking for advice. One shop told me that they replace SLPs and Flowmasters all of the time. It seems that everyone wants a really loud car until they have to drive a really loud car all of the time. They recommended Magnaflow.
I've been running Magnaflows for about a month. They are still loud. I can't hear the radio unless I turn it way up. They sound great at WOT. But they are definitely easier on the ears then the Flowmasters. I'm running long-tubes and a catted X-pipe. If you are running an o/r x-pipe they will be even louder on your car.
