If you want a mustang that sounds like a dump truck, get a x. If you want it to sound like a muscle car, get an H.

didnt know v8 4.6L's could sound like a diesel... I would compare an o/r x to a nascar, and an o/r H to a 60's-70's musclecar

I have flowmasters and an off road H, I get compliments all the time also! Maybe I should get an actual cat back to get more?

for what it's worth, Flowmaster is pimping their super 44's now. The super 40s are nice, but the rep himself said to go with the 44 and gain another couple of hp, with the same classic Flowmaster sound, and it should be a couple bucks less too. Personally, I prefer the Bassani sound, but have had Borlas before and loved them too (got the car shipped and they backed it off wrong and bent the tips and catback in half).

longtubes, DR GAS O/R X Pipe and spintech prostreets is the best sounding exhaust combo on a mustang.

Here's my setup

Ignore my talkative nature and my sickness (coughing and grunting)

and....the squeaky belt. That doesn't come with the exhaust ;]

I would say go with some Kook LT headers, a mac o/r H pipe, and a set of Borlas. For what it is worth though I have a set of SLP LM1's that I am willing to trade, I am just tired of the cops skrewing with me around here because of my loudness.
