I have a 2002 GT

The mods are Ford power pipe, Trick flow throttle body and plenera, BBK full length headers, external fuel pump, 42lb. injectors, 90mm mass air flow meter, custom tuned chip, and a Vortech v2 supercharger w/ aftercooler. It was dynoed at 465rwhp

All the internals are stock and now a rod is knocking. I have been thinking of installing a Mahle rebuild kit with a forged cobra crank,pistons, and rods. Then I would need my block machined.

Or maybe a DSS 4.6 pro mod short block, and still use my supercharger.

I was even thinking of buying a 03-04 cobra engine w/ eaton, and selling my vortech s/c and do a throttle body, and pulley.

I would like to have atleast 500rwhp, and more important is reliability.
This is my daily driver. My budget is about $4,000 The cheaper the better.

stroke it to a 5.0 you get forged internals and can up the boost.. plus the motor gives more hp..
