? (Tuner For Gears)
Do I need a tuner if I buy gears. I don't see why I would if I can have the guys doing it recalibrate the speedo.

Yeah, either or. But keep in mind, if you just buy the tuner... it has other advantages. If you get an XCAL 2 you can just do it yourself, not to mention... with all the various mods you can do... it's around, oh you know... 25 to 30 HP you gain plus a much more fun ride.
If your not lookin to blow the mulah though, just get a spedo cal.

its not exactly 25-30hp...i got 15-20..and i suggest u get a custome tune as opposed to doing it urself...also a speed cal doesnt do anything but calibrate the speedo...if thats all u wanna do then go for it cuz it'll save you lots of money...the only thing is that if your car is auto you'll have to buy a tuner cuz speedcals arent made for auto trans for 99-up.

Okay i use 25 to 30 loose. On a stock it isnt that high. If you've got mad mods though, you can gain alot more out of a tuner. Seriously.

yep...it max's out the power of each mod you do...for example...if you put a CAI w/o a tune...you get what...1 hp....if you do CAI with a tune...5-8...so not bad...this is just an example

Yep, exactly. So really, it's sweet if your not pulling stock. Totally worth it.
