it was a bitch to get off because of the egr bracket and there is absolutely no room to get it off... so i had to work around it but got it off the only thing is that i would worry about messing the paint up tryin to get it back on... any suggestions

i'd say black and when you reinstall it cover the whole thing with blue painters tape, 2 layers and then remove the tape after install.

NO black. retains heat. I would say if you had the money go have it caramic coated. If thats a little too much for you then pick out a nice accent color or have it color matched to your car.

after you have it done then get some 320 grit sand paper on a sanding block and remove the paint/powdercoat on the ridges on the upper intake. then move to 600,100. just barey take the paint off with the 320. then move to the 600. It will eventually start to look like polished. or stop after the 600 and it will have a "brushed" look.
