Cammed Up!


so i was wondering if i could run nitrous with a hi-tech stage 2 cam? i watched the video of the car that ran a 12.1 N/A and got inspired but i still wanted to do nitrous lol...and if it would also work with the trick flow heads that are coming out...thanks in advance

gregg from tfs said probably march but the test car put a little over 400 rwhp down stock shortblock... time for the 2v's to wake up

Nice!

And nitrous isn't like S/C or turbo when it comes to cam selection (especially turbo). Most times a good cam for N/A applications will work just fine with a shot of spray.

gregg at trickflow emailed me and said they made 400 to the crank on an engine dyno with 270s,and the trick flow intake.. and they prob wont hit market till march-june.. and the price is 2195-2495.. no exact price yet seeing how they are still really just now testing the heads.. and still have a long way to go

Honestly, that's not a bad price for a good set of performance aftermarket heads.

has a lot to do with it stock compression not bored or stroked because any of those would obviously change the numbers. But the heads come in two available combustion chambers a 38cc and a 44cc. The 38cc is for the pi cars and makes the stock shortblock roughly 10:1 and would be roughly 13:1 on a non pi.. many many improvements along with more ptv clearance and full 3/4" spark plug threads NO MORE BLOWOUT
