Wow, this Granatelli guy is shameless:

Says it doesn't matter trying to save American jobs, then undercuts his own retailer to make a few extra bucks!

No Freak'n way - Go to our website, do you biggest best search and you will be hard pressed to find Granatelli Arms like the one in your picture. Your pictures are date stamped 02/12/09. This leads everyone to believe you just purchased these parts -How could that be? - When the customer called us to ask for help Nick (in returns) asked for a copy of a receipt and the guy said he did not have one – We have not sold an aluminum lower control arm in over 4 years. The instructions below show the last date of sale as Oct 17 2004 and they did not have a huge window in the middle – He is missing the support plates that were in the center. It is hard to help a customer when they are not honest

Rather then spam and bash he should have and could have been honest and not 1/2 install them.

I did not say that - please don't twist my words. TCI, lay offs, B&M reduced work force, Paxton and Vortech, reduced work force, layoffs and 4 day work weeks, Magnussen - same thing - it is all over the place and Granatelli is still open 40 hours a week, no one lost their job over the slowed down business time and everyone gets their checks on time. I have eat'n all the bad problems and kept everyone going.

The facts do not change why muddy the water with spam talk like that? It services no purpose. As for the pricing on the parts - we support our delaers and the forums - this is why we made teh offer to only the next three which were all purchased teh following day so the deal is over - why is it human nature to start shit rather then create harmony?

The point is we can only help the honest people that want help. It also helps if you have documentation. Clearly looking the the picture of the car, based purely on the rust and how not well teh bottom of the car was maintained - the parts were recently installed becuase the lower arms look brand new - I just feel if the customer was not in attack mode he could have got a new set of arms - If Summit says they will replace the parts - more power to him. I can't see where they found 1 set let alone another

Granatelli, you mentioned "support plates" for the middle. Is this a part that has to be bolted in or was the part modified and these plates removed? I would guess they were 1/4" flat steel plates bolted together through the oval opening? This would certainly add up to substantial strengthening of this location.

Not busting your balls, just don't understand why there is no support in the pics.

Correct - As shipped they came with 7075- 1/4 plate stock that is clamped togethr by (2) 1/4 x 20 x 1" grade 8 bolts. they went shipped already assembled - so they had to have been removes after they left GMS

In any case we would have helped teh customer had he been calm and not lied

So if these support plates are missing, this LCA is NOT going to hold up to design specs

Based on what Granatelli says, the OP, or unknown person that modified these LCA's, is 100% responsible for this issue and owes an appology to the manufacturer. He also owes the retraction of all the slander of his name/parts on the sites posted. Unfortunately, I doubt this will happen.
