Just wondering. Cause i never expierenced this with my sixxer. Do you ever notice in the cold the engine hesitates a lil? or just acts diffrent? i never noticed it until it got cold so......

My cobra runs like shit til' she warms up a little. In general I let every car warm up for a couple minutes if its really cold out. Even if I drive away and my cobra still isn't up to normal I take it easy.

my car runs mint after 5 minutes of warm up.......

change ur filters, plugs and clean ur wires and see where that takes u

Yea cause i let it waarm up for like ten mins before going to work and throttle ran like a champ. I didnt get a chance to after work and he was running shitty

u really should give every car atleast 5 min to get the blood pumping right.......

think of it like this..... do u roll out of bed and just start ur day? most people take atleast 15-20 minutes to use the bathroom, shower, get ready and prepare themselves...

More like going for a run right when you wake up haha. But yeah cars need to get up to temps to run right. they are also in open loop when cold.

Yup, like I said, usually every car I at least let warm up for 5 minutes at least. But if I'm in a hurry or running late and don't have time to let it sit for a couple I'll take it easy.

i've got a pretty nasty long traffic light next to my exit in my complex, so i ussually time it so that i'm letting the car warm up while i wait for the light to change......

My car feels like it's running bad. Until it's been about 15 min my trans feels like shit. After prolly 5-10 minutes she's back to normal but yeah, same thing happens to me

gotta give ur motor time to warm up as well as the oil to warm up a bit an ur tranny will not feel right until the fluids warm up.....get in it while its feaking cold an throw the gas to it first thing as see what happens

It's mostly my transmission that runs stupid until it's warm. It's harder to shift and doesn't feel right.

its cause ur fluids are cold.u wanna see something slow. watch a tractor trailer with a coal trailer dump an load an watch the bed come back down,slow as hell because the hydrolic(or how ever u spell it) is so thick an cold...its cant move flow fast enough

I remember that. I used to work on a farm. We used to have those problems.

Tranny is almost the same way when it comes to warming up like an engine. Engine needs to get "the blood (oil)" flowing. Same with the tranny. It's going to clunk, bang, and sound like (and feel like) shit until everything gets properly lubricated.
