I found out its the air intake temperature sensor. Should it ever have to be cleaned, and if so with what.

If you think you should clean it, clean it. If i see something on my car, and question "should i clean this", then i clean it.

i just took a q-tip and gently cleaned it. It took off the dust that was on it.
